Details of smoking ban released
The Government have released details of their plans to ban smoking in public places.
All workplaces, including restaurants, pubs serving food and cafes, will be covered by the ban. Pubs that do not serve food and private members clubs will be exempt from the ban. The deadline for the smoking ban will be summer 2007, 18 months ahead of schedule
