Northern Ireland smoking ban confirmed
Shaum Woodward has confirmed that a smoking ban is to be implemented in Northern Ireland in April 2007.
The ban will apply to workplaces, pubs and all enclosed public spaces.
The NI ban follows the ban implemented by neighbour Southern Ireland in 2004.
Shaun Woodward is the health minister and he is a former smoker himself
